I recently signed up for Karla's Birdsong tag book swap and can't wait to get started!
Karla is a fabulous hostess; lots of ideas, graphics, papers, printables.... she always gets a great turnout for her swaps (over 100 this time) and everyone puts together the most amazing tags.
Since our theme is "birdsong" I've been looking through old books, postcards, etc., for some inspiration. I'm waiting for something to reach out and "grab" me... a birdie graphic that will actually "tweet" to me...
(although I like these graphics, the idea of "caged" birds is not what I'm striving for)

This little guy is a HomeGoods clearance find... he's getting a little makeover and will be a special hostess gift for Karla...
Wish me luck! I'll probably end of with a few different tags to start with and decide which one i like best.

hi mercedes ! i just joined Karlas swap too. although i think i know what i'm doing - it's a first ! the nests are drying as we speak.
