Another fun swap I recently participated in was the Altered Paper Whimsy Pocket Swap, hosted by Tee. This was another new concept for me - making a wee "pocket" using a paper towel roll. It was quick (instant gratification!) and fun!
This is the pocket my partner Jean made for me. She and I knew nothing about each other; but she certainly learned my "style" very quickly!
Lots of pretty fabrics, laces, ribbons.... a lovely pink tinged flower...
and look at the other lovely gifts she included! Thank you, Jean, for my beautiful little pocket!
My pocket for Jean was a a feminine, romantic gypsy girl.
When I look at these photos, I realize that our pockets are "related." Their style, materials used and overall theme are very similar. Both of us even had a message to shared "Soar" from Jean, and "remember" from me.

Funny how "tissue paper rolls" are becoming quite the creative art supply these days! Yours are lovely, and we're upcycling! :)
