I participated in my 2nd altered matchbox swap recently... the theme was "grandma's attic" and it was hosted by the creatively fabulous JoAnne at Vintage Dragonfly.
As the theme implies, we were to fill our boxes with vintage items that you would typically find in grandma's attic...
Here's the lovely box I received from my partner, Victoria
...she must have known how much I Iove roses!
...and how much I love lace...
The box was packed with treasures from "grandma's attic"
... full of fabulous PINK accents...
... I already have a few projects planned for these...
(how about a pink and black Halloween theme? just wondering...)
Thank you so much, Victoria, for my beautiful pink box!
I'm sharing my pinks today with
Pink Saturday at How Sweet the Sound

Oh Victoria is a sweetheart, she send lovely goodies to you.... Hugs wendy

Hello Mercedes,
This is just exquisite! Love it! Thanks for visiting - my china came from my Mother-In-Law who sells Mary Kay - it was made exclusively for the consultants to win - she won so much she gave me seven full place settings and my sister-in-law the same!
Hope you have a great week,
Kathy

As your blog name implies "all things pretty" and your swap partner sure accomplished that. I love that crocheted heart box. My Mom used to crochet pieces like that...one in particular I remember was a tea cup and saucer and then they were starched to stiffness. Happy Belated Pink Saturday. :)

Your partner really did an excellent job on her swap box. It is lovely. You were lucky receiving that.
