More creativity this past weekend... I felt like my time had run out (summer) and I needed to get as much done as possible! Several little projects which I've been meaning to work on - all of them "firsts" for me - got started (and some were even finished!)
As I mentioned in my last post, I finally made my very first altered dominoes...
I'm pleased with how they turned out... but realize that I'm not quite finished.
Would still like to embellish the perimeter of the domino and maybe add a bit more three-dimensional touches.
You know what I mean; "junk" it up a bit more (as my dear MIL used to say).
Remember the glass bottles I mentioned here?
Well, a couple of those had a bit of a make-over...
Marie Antoinette is a popular gal around Blogland; she deserves her very own bottle! On this bottle, her image was printed on cream linen, which was applied to a metal button base.
And since I was on a roll with the whole Marie thing, I made a few tags as well. Here's my favorite one.
Well, got to go!~ I'm back to the Sunshine Room to work on more little projects!
(The back-to-school countdown is on.... I start work on Wednesday)
I'm sharing my creations with the following parties:

Blue Monday at Smiling' Sally
Welcome back! I also like to create, even if the imagination is sometimes lacking.

Well now....this is the first I have heard of altered dominoes. How cute! And your bottles are gorgeous. I read your other post too about all the swaps and I think I may join one. Thank you Mercedes for the heads up. I love your name!! Can I have it? xoxo

You did a great job on your decorated dominoes. One of my blogging friends made and sent me one.
