Awh, felicidades a la quinceaƱera. ;) You are very brave to share those surreal old Cuban customs of ours. I think my husband would've had quite a different response if a 27 year old man would have asked to court our daughter when she was 14. hahaha Can't even imagine it now that she's 19. For me it was the first time I was allowed to wear heels.
LOVE all your beautiful details, Mercedes. You are genious!
Wishing Analay many, many blessings, along with her loved ones. It's such a dreamy time which goes by way too fast. Enjoy.

Oh this post brought back memories of my two twin daughters getting to participate in a friend's Quinceanera a few years ago. I think she had 15 young ladies and 15 young men that danced and were dressed to the hilt. It was like someone's wedding. And what a beautiful young woman Analay is. You did up some very special things for her. If you are interested I just announced a swap at my blog for summer and I think you would love it. Come check it out!

what a lovely post.... i didn't participate in this right of passage and my dad was very upset that my mom didn't push the tradition.
i know she will have a fabulous time....
