Since I was in Florida for my birthday, my family surprised me with a little belated birthday celebration on Sunday. My husband always tries to make mine extra special, never failing to make me feel loved and cherished on my birthday each year.
Bianca made me a delicious (and healthy) peanut butter cake with chocolate/peanut butter frosting. It was like eating a huge Reese's (only yummier and guiltless)!
The "boys" showed up with beautiful flowers.... a rose shrub for my garden from one, and a fresh bouquet from the other.
They know their mother so well (smile).
It was wonderful to be surrounded by love.
Mercedes, I am so glad you were able to see my post about the our most amazing hatbox swap. I surely loved being your partner, and I have been all through your blog just now, and I must say the you not only have a talent for crafting, plus a wonderful studio, but I see that you are a very amazing photographer as well. I loved the post about the hatboxes, and I love all your pictures and how well you write. I am not very good at either writing or photography, I am afraid. I leave that to my talented daughters, one is a writer and one is a gifted photographer. (that's how I got all my wonderful studio pictures. I just let her loose in my studio one afternoon while I watched her little girls).
