If you are like me, you have a difficult time throwing out scraps of fabric, lace, tatting and other bits when you are done with a project.
I tend to throw these bits and pieces in a box.... and every few months, I open it with the intent of cleaning it out (which means: discard some things, keep only the "good" stuff)... but most of the time I either (a) close the box back up without touching a thing, or more often (b) start pulling wee pieces out as inspiration takes root for yet another project.
Such was the case this past weekend. One of my objections when I relocated my studio to the upstairs was to get rid of things I no longer use.
So I took out my box of bits and pieces... today was the day! I was going to pull out just a few special little pieces and the rest was going into the trash!
Really.
Truly.
This is what I ended up doing...
Does it look like I got side-tracked?
Well, maybe just a tiny bit.
And once I started, I couldn't stop!
These petite fabric cards/tags were such fun to make...
Did I make a dent in my box of bits and pieces?
Not even a scratch; even after making a dozen+ of this pretties.
I mean, you are only using tiny, tiny bits...
So what to do now?
1. send some to friends
2. put a few up for sale in my Etsy shoppe
3. make more!
What gorgeous little pieces of art Mercedes!
